Employers' organisations represent a key asset in any society: its enterprises. Successful enterprises are at the heart of any strategy to create employment and improve living standards. Employers' organisations help to create the conditions for enterprise success by influencing the environment in which they do business and by providing services that improve their individual performance.
As one of the three constituents of the ILO, employers' organisations have a special relationship with the Organisation. The ILO's Bureau for Employers' Organisations is responsible for the nurturing and development of that relationship.
