Training materials on the code of practice being developed

In order to facilitate the application of the code of practice on safety and health in the iron and steel industry, ILO is developing training materials for a 2-day workshop that will introduce participants from the industry and administration to the practice included in the code and assist them in using it in revising and setting up of working procedures and planning extensions/changes to plants. Following a pilot workshop in late 2008, the training materials will be made publicly available.
